SNRGC has engaged the private sector and industry leaders who share a common vision for how significant investment from EDA could catalyze wage growth, increase economic diversification through new industries, and scale or grow existing industries in the Southern Nevada region. These commitments support innovation and workforce development for the region's global competitiveness. Further support from private foundations, banks and funders will help to leverage future private philanthropy and support SNRGC projects and goals. Finally, commitments from local Chambers of Commerce will ensure that project benefits are distributed equitably. In total, SNRGC collected more than 40 letters of support and specific commitments that were submitted with the regional challenge application.
